Founded in 1957, Champion Coatings supplied specialty coatings to the oil and
oil services industries. Following the oil recession and a change of ownership,
Champion Coatings changed its focus from oilfield industries to the
transportation industry. Today, Champion Coatings supplies a full line of
industrial coatings to a variety of industries.
Champion Coatings' has offices in Houston and
Detroit. At the Houston office are seven buildings built on a six acre
site where one can find Champion's executive, administrative, research and
development, and manufactuing divisions . While Houston serves as Champion's
primary business location, Champion also has offices in Detroit for the
purposes of coatings toll blending.
Champion employs over fifty people dedicated to bringing quality industrial
coatings to all of our clients. Champion proudly boasts an employee average of
10 years industry experience for our coatings professionals, with more
than three times that for the executive staff.
Mike Stamps, President
Mike Stamps has over thirty years of industry experience. Prior to his position
at Champion as President and Sales Director, Mike spent time as the head
of automotive sales for The Mortell Company. Mike Stamps graduated from The
University of Texas at Arlington in 1970 with a bachelor's degree
in Maretking and a minor in Economics.
Bruce Radebaugh, Vice President
Bruce Radebaugh has over thirty years of industry experience. Prior to his
position at Champion as Vice President and Operations Director, Bruce spent
time as both the Lab Director and the Director of Purchasing at The Mortell
Company. Bruce Radebaugh graduated from the University of Illinois in 1970
with a bachelor's in Chemistry.
